Rosin
The gumboil looks like glass; it crumbles when pressed. It dissolves in organic solvents, insoluble in water. It turns into a stretching substance at temperatures from 50 to 130 ºС, depending on the method of production of rosin.

Used in various industries. It occupies a large niche in soldering work. It is used in the pulp and paper industry, in the production of various materials, in paints and varnishes. Powdered, for rubbing and good adhesion, used in sports, for musical products, billiards, etc.
Manufacturers
The largest producers of rosin in Russia are plants in the north of the Irkutsk region in the cities of Ust-Ilimsk and Bratsk. In the Arkhangelsk region and "Segezha PPM", in Karelia.
